Deann Bucher– District E- Recommend: YES
Deann Bucher is a longtime BVSD educator and education professional. She is focused on supporting educators with quality professional development opportunities to improve retention, sustaining and strengthening BVSD’s high academic standards, promoting inclusive and equitable learning environments, and ensuring comprehensive support for students and families. Bucher would be the first openly gay member elected to BVSD School Board.
Jeffrey Anderson– District E- Recommend: Neutral
Jeffrey Anderson is a data scientist at NCAR and co-chair of BVSD’s Long Range Advisory Committee. He is focused on using data effectively and ethically to improve BVSD’s understanding of student and staff needs, and supports doing more to support students’ mental and behavioral health needs.
